The Woman's Trip (as Haven called it)

For Christmas, my mom gave all of us girls a one night getaway. So on Friday, we left OH around 2 PM and headed north to Lynden. We stayed at a cozy condo on a beautiful golf course (I can't remember what it is called) and had a grand old time. We shopped, ate dinner at Red Robin, and then hung out in the hot tub for almost 2 hours. Then we retired to our "Sports Cabana" and started a movie, complete with all the necessary sweets. On Saturday we did a little more shopping, ate lunch at the Olive Garden, got a pedicure or manicure, saw 27 Dresses, did a little more shopping and then finished off the evening at Red Robin for Mile-High-Mudpie. It was fantastic!

Amanda sporting her swimsuit and winter parka as we headed out door for the hot tub.

Ciera, in her fabulous towel turban.

Ciera, Sarah and Amanda waiting in the cold for mom to checkout so we could take a picture.

The girls (a little blurry, but what can you expect when you hand your camera off to a stranger)

It's become a tradition to get our own piece of mud pie when we're on our girls trip. In years past, our waitress' have made some snide remarks, such as, "you all want your OWN piece...we're going to have to roll all of you out of here!" But this time, our waitress rocked and told us how awesome we were. She is a smart girl!

Thanks Mom, Sarah, Ciera and Amanda for a great weekend!

Oh man.. completely made my whole entire day. President.. you did good. I'm just a little disappointed that there isn't a picture of everyone wearing skank tops.
I'm so glad you all had a good time. Incredible ladies deserve incredible getaways!

I mist admit...I'm a little jealous. I've never gotten to do anything like that because I grew up with all boys! There weren't any ladies to have a "Woman's Trip"! Then I go and marry into a family with all boys! What was I thinking?!

That looks like WAY too much fun! What a fun time to get spoiled! Did you like the movie?
I am all about my OWN dessert too - you know me and food - it is a serious love affair I have going on there:) Jonathan knows better than to try and eat off my plate if he didn't order any:)

I am so proud of you - what an accomplishment. I am sure it is not easy - that is what I call Enduring to the End! There is nothing that beats a girl's night out!

It looks like you girls had a swell time . . .was aunt connie trying to have a little mud pie left over on her lips, or was that a joke??? At any rate, it made me laugh!

Thats my kind of women! Every time we go there I have to get my own. It got really bad when I was pregnant. Imagine me 50 pounds heavier my belly sticking out like the bow of a battleship. I was like a pit bull defending my territory over that mud pie with my husband.:) Even with all the comments and looks it was still worth it.

I am soooo jealous, that looks like so much fun. I think I want to do something fun like that... like go on a cruise or something, maybe in September, perhaps no kids or husbands. What do ya think? :)
