Rest Assured Everyone

Before...

After...

We'd like to send a special shout out to our friend (and new home teacher) at Island ChemDry, Dan! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Also, to another friend, Mr. Clean and his magic eraser. I think with a coat of paint we'll be good as new.

Sun and Buns

As many of you know, we had amazing weather in western Washington last weekend, with temperatures in the high 70s! It was fabulous. After telling the kids "No, we're not going to fill up the pool," more than a few times, we decided the sprinkler was a good compromise. So they donned their suits and sunscreen and headed out back for some fun in the sun.

Our friend, Kara

I simply could not resist comparing bottoms in this picture. Kara was wearing Halle's new swimsuit, which she obviously has a little extra room in. Haven on the other hand, never has extra room when it comes to anything that will cover her buns!

I think Haven's buns are one of her best features! I dedicate this picture to my friend Debbie, who whenever she says Haven's name, she follows it with, "she has the best buns," while making squishing motions with her hands. I hope this picture brings a smile to her face!

Ingredients for fun... sun, friends, and water

P.S. When Haven first tried on her new suit she said the top, triangle part was like mine (I think she was referring to my bra) because it covers her "nibbles." Gotta make sure those nibbles are covered :)

Two Little Monkeys and Some Markers

The following is what an Asher monkey and a Kaden monkey can do with some Mr. Sketch markers in what Mike claims was only 10 minutes. Note to self, Asher and Kaden are only allowed to play alone upstairs if they are locked in Asher's room!

One last thing, all of this happened while I was at a softball tournament. Mike actually took the time to take all the pictures. Thinking like a true blogger I tell ya!

Caught green handed!

The damage...

So every time I check my blog to see what all of you have to say, Asher gasps in horror when he sees the pictures, as if he didn't have anything to do with it. Then when I look at him and ask if he did it, he tilts his head down and says no, doing his best to contain his smile. I'm in big trouble!

With the boys away, the girls did play!

Mike took Asher to visit Grandma Bauer in Arizona for her 81 st birthday a couple weeks ago. When I told the girls that Daddy was going to take Asher and that we were going to have a lot of fun while they were gone, Halle's response was, "you mean like a grownup girls weekend without kids?" After a good laugh the girls started to list all kinds of fun things we could do without kids (Asher). Our weekend included a trip to the Science Center, dinner at Red Robin and a movie night. Needless to say, it was a exciting AND exhausting weekend.

Mike and Asher had a ton of fun in AZ as well. They spent time in the pool (since it was in the 90s during their visit), fed the birds in grandmas backyard, made grandma a birthday cake and went out to dinner to celebrate. They also got to spend time with Mike's uncle, Tom and his son Justice. Asher loved to the airplanes at the airport, but didn't especially appreciate the ride.

These trips are never long enough, we'll miss you Grandma

Perfect Pushup

I purchased the Perfect Pushup thingys at Costco last weekend. I busted them out of the box today and thought I'd give them a try. Asher and Haven took a turn after me, and unfortunately I think we all have similar form. So although I'm not on the video, I'm pretty sure you can imagine what I look like after watching Asher and Haven.
