All about teeth!

Halle lost her first tooth today! It's been dangling for a few days now, and she was not about to pull it out or let one of us pull it out at home. She just kept saying, "I want to make an appointment!" So today after school Mike took her to his office for an "appointment" and pulled her tooth out! Too funny.

One of these teeth is not like the other!

Hello toothless!

Last week, Mike and his staff, went to one of the local elementary schools and did a presentation for a third grade class on oral hygiene. They used a program that Mike used when he was in dental school and it was a hit! Checkout the pictures below and then a few of the hilarious thank you notes from the students. Mike is scheduled to do the presentation for the kindergarten classes next month. Halle is so excited she can hardly stand it!

Three of the students are wearing white garbage bags so they look like teeth. All the students were telling Mike what they ate for dinner last night and Amanda is sticking food wrappers on the teeth. I love the girl in the blue shirt with her hand way up!

Three students don gloves and masks in preparation for flossing and brushing.

Too stinkin'cute, and so excited to go home and floss and brush (I wonder how long that will last).

Be sure to click on the letters to enlarge for easier viewing.

Now if all we had to do was go around to schools and have fun, and not worry about paying the bills, life would be grand!

Holy cow, those letters were way too fun to read! I can't even pick my favorite. Maybe Stephanie, the girl who found 10 uses for her dental mask? and of course 3. dentist.
This was awesome! and P.S. Go Halle!

Oh man! I seriously LOVED going to that class and the girl with her hand way up that you like? TOTALLY hitting on Mike by the way - even pulling out the big guns with the "I want to be a dentist when I grow up" Mike told her they would have to talk later and I thought her face was going to burn right off her body! too cute!

I need to get my kids up there to see the "presentation" they aren't the biggest flossing fans!

Congrats to Halle on losing a tooth!! So very grown up! Lydia likes losing them, but not wiggling. I have to remind her to wiggle them so much, they practically jump out of her mouth on their own by the end!
