Pinewood derby cars and ANOTHER visit from the Tooth Fairy

Saturday was the big race! Our Elders Quorum hosted a pinewood derby race for families and Mike went all out. He constructed 3 cars, one for each child, with their help of course! I think he enjoyed the time spent in his make shift wood shop (one corner of our garage that has a counter and cupboards). It was a nice break from the norm. Anyway, the kids got a real kick out of their cars and racing their friends, and more importantly there were no major emotional breakdowns when none of them won!

Asher got a real kick out of sticking his little Tonka trucks on the track.

Later that evening, I made a deal with Halle that if she let Mike pull her other loose tooth out at home, she could go to the store with me (I consider myself a master negotiator). She was game immediately and before we knew it, she had two missing teeth! I'm glad Mike is here to be the tooth puller, I don't think pulling teeth is in my scope of practice.

What?!? She LIKES going to the store? That would NOT work with Kara. She hates shopping with me. There has to be something in it for her. I don't blame her, I don't like shopping either.
Congrats on your 2nd lost tooth Halle!

FUN!!! I can only imagine those Lemme boys being all over building a pine wood derby car! I just hope Nate will let the kids help too!

Pinewood derbys are always fun and I love to see how stressed out the dads get trying to make their car the fastest. so funny. Halle is cute with missing teeth. I love it when they lose their two front teeth!
